NGC 6888 - The Crescent Nebula

Planetary nebula in Cygnus,  surrounding a Wolf-Rayet star.

A planetary nebula is a shell of gas that has been shed by a star late in its lifetime.

Notes Seeing and transparency average.   First image with the new 80ED.  Could really use 10 minute exposures, and possibly an LPR filter.  Ha filter would be the best, if I had one.
