Notes | Seeing and transparency were very poor, with extremely high evening temperatures; ~ 90 Deg. F. Using the Celestron F/6.3 reducer with the C80ED showed alignment/coma issues. The camera appears to be tilted in the x-axis as witnessed by the star shapes on the right side of the image. I massaged the results in PS, to alleviate this result, but it is still noticable. The combination of low altitude of this object and poor seeing made the color data very sparse, even with the longer exposure times. |
